Domaine du Gaou Benat

Many of the offered mansions and summer residences are located within an exclusive private domain with a size of approx. 250 hectares and therefore it is significantly larger than Monaco and comprises the complete area of Cap Benat.

The area is built with exclusive houses whose owners come from all European countries (mainly France, Germany and Switzerland). Only a few houses can be rented. The access is monitored by a security service.

It is only allowed to build on the Southern slopes which means that only ¼ of the area is built. The remaining area is pure nature thus allowing a big variety of flora and fauna. Numerous paths invite to long walks.

Furthermore the cladding of each house has to be made out of stones extracted from the local quarries. The roof has to be constructed as a flat roof. Based on these restrictive measures the big advantage is that you get the feeling of being alone in this area. The domain has its own sandy beach. However the daily care of this beach is only guaranteed during the season.

Courses for windsurfing and sailing are offered at the beach during the season. 7 tennis courts can be booked unbureaucraticly a few metres away from the private beach. A small shopping centre with a good range of products for your daily needs is opened in July and August.
